WelcomeDear colleague,On behalf of the Finnish Investor Relations Society, I would like to warmly welcome you to attend the 11th Nordic Investor Relations Conference on June 11, 2009 in Helsinki. The operating environment for investor relations professionals has changed rapidly since last year's conference. Recent market developments have shown how important the IR function is, as it provides a communication channel between companies and the financial market. Now, maybe more than ever before, companies can make a difference by conducting an active IR dialogue with the investment community. The organizing committee for the NIRC 2009 collected feedback regarding topics and speakers, bearing in mind the market situation that we are in.
