We are looking for an Investor Relations Manager who will create and develop Cargotec’s financial communication and ensure trusted and proactive communication towards the financial markets in a crucial moment in Cargotec’s history. Cargotec is going through a transformation from a conglomerate to a separate focused company, Hiab.

The IR manager would play a key role in shaping and strengthening the company’s investor relations capabilities and establishing Hiab as an attractive investment. 

The position will be located in Helsinki, Finland. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Contributing to the creation of a compelling strategy, framework and roadmap for investor relations
  • Build and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication and networking between internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders 
  • Manage communication with analysts and investors, addressing inquiries and assist in providing updates on company performance and strategy 
  • Prepare and distribute interim report and stock exchange releases and coordinate related processes 
  • Preparing investor presentations and events, like site visits and Capital Market Days 
  • Overseeing our investor relations website and contributing to its development 
  • Preparing material for investors as well as reports to management and board 
  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including monitoring key financial metrics, conducting industry research 
  • Maintaining our investor database.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Master’s level degree Business Administration, preferably in finance or communication 2
  • At least 3 years work experience within investor relations, financial communications or finance field 
  • Preferably experience from B2B-business and/or industrial sector 
  • Familiar with financing modelling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors 
  • Experience in preparing the interim reports and stock exchange releases
  • Strong communication and social skills as well as excellent presentation skills 
  • Knowledge and understanding of capital markets and disclosure requirements 
  • Good understanding of financial figures and regulation related to IR 
  • Fluency in written and verbal Finnish and English. Swedish is considered as an advantage 
  • Willingness to travel.
